The winners of the 2025 ideas competition have been announced

On June 17, 2025, the most original business ideas and groundbreaking research results from the Rostock research area were awarded prizes as part of the local ideas competition “inspired”.

The aim of the competition is to identify innovative technologies and ideas at the University of Rostock and the research institutions in the Rostock region and to support them not only with financial resources, but also with valuable contacts, intensive coaching and important experience.

The finalists of the competition presented their ideas in the OSPA main building in front of a jury consisting of experienced entrepreneurs and scientists from the region. The top three teams in the categories “Students & Trainees” and “Researchers, Graduates & External Participants” will receive prize money and awards with a total value of up to 10,000 euros, donated by companies from the region.
