On June 22, 2022, the most original business ideas and groundbreaking research findings from the Rostock Research Area were honored as part of the “inspired” ideas competition.
The goal of the competition is to identify innovative technologies and ideas at the University of Rostock and research institutions in the Rostock region and to support them not only with funding but also with valuable contacts, intensive coaching, and important practical insights.
The competition finalists presented their ideas in the main building of the University of Rostock before a jury consisting of experienced entrepreneurs and scientists from the region. The top three teams in the “Students” and “Researchers & Graduates” categories will receive prize money and awards totaling 10,000 euros, donated by companies in the region—including two special prizes in the categories “Innovative Products” and “Environmental Technologies and Services,” each worth 1,000 euros.
