Strategic Path to Success: From Idea to a Registered Trademark. Logos | Names | Designs …and more. (English Translation)

This practice-oriented seminar provides information on the various types of trademarks as well as common pitfalls in creating such a distinctive sign. Key aspects such as scope of protection, distinctiveness, and possible alternatives are discussed using practical examples.

In addition, the free online database “DPMAregister” of the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA) is presented in detail, while other databases are briefly introduced. Participants will research a sample trademark or their own ideas under guidance and jointly discuss the relevant legal aspects.

Finally, all participants are guided through the DPMA’s “DPMAdirektWeb” tool for filing a trademark application online without a signature, ensuring that nothing stands in the way of turning their ideas into reality.

Participation is free of charge.
