Team at the Center for Entrepreneurship (ZfE)
The Center for Entrepreneurship team brings together experts from the fields of start-up support, innovation management, entrepreneurship education, and applied research. Together, we support students, researchers, and those interested in starting a business on their journey from the initial idea to successful implementation.
Dr. Martin Setzkorn is responsible for the operational management of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Rostock. Since 2011, he has been developing and implementing projects and instruments for start-up support at the University of Rostock as well as joint projects promoting start-ups in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
As a trained mediator, he supports idea generators at the University of Rostock. The certified change manager gained professional experience during his studies by founding his own companies. In doing so, he gained comprehensive insights into the start-up landscape in Germany. He has supported more than 200 founders in creating their business plans. He has successfully accompanied more than 30 founders to start-up grants (Exist). Dr. Setzkorn is a lecturer in start-up studies. In addition to start-up studies, he focuses in particular on intrapreneurship, innovation management, and support for company succession. As a design thinking trainer, he can draw on an extensive pool of methods. In addition:
