In this workshop, Louisa Wiethold will explain the bootstrapping principle, advantages and disadvantages and who bootstrapping is suitable for. Using examples and lessons learned from her own start-up story and other successful start-ups, she will put the topic into practice. The keynote speech shows a range of possibilities for individual start-up paths and is intended to motivate people to try things out and get started. Of course, there will also be a Q&A session where you can ask any questions you may have.
About the person:
Louisa Wiethold founded her first company for sustainable tennis clothing while still studying financial management and, after a stint in auditing, founded the start-up Equalista together with her sister straight after graduating with the help of the EXIST start-up grant. The Equalista learning app on gender equality is available in the App Store and Play Store. In addition to founding the company, Louisa is studying for a Master's degree in Digital Business Management and has long been involved in local politics and has been directly elected to the Kiel City Council since 2023.
