The winners of the local ideas competition 2025 have been announced!
This year's award ceremony for the best ideas in the 2025 ideas competition took place at the OSPA Center am Vögenteich in Rostock.

Review of the Berlin Valley Tour 2024

We are looking for innovative ideas and research results from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern research region.
The competition is aimed at the following groups of people:
- enrolled students
- research assistants
- doctoral candidates
- post docs
- professors
- graduates
- Members of the participating research institutes
- Craftspeople
- Others
Participation is possible both individually and in teams. There is no industry focus in this competition.
The ideas competition, which is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Employment and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF), supports innovative ideas and business start-ups in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern every year, e.g. from academia. In the multi-stage competition, no fully developed business plans are expected, but rather a concise, precise presentation of the business idea and the participants who would like to continue working on this idea. The submitted idea will be refined and developed further over the course of the competition.
