In the first consultation, you will receive sound orientation on your start-up idea - or on your general interest in the topic of start-ups. The ZfE start-up consultants will work with you to examine the potential of your project, reflect on possible challenges and support you in gaining initial clarity about feasibility, opportunities and sensible next steps.

Possible contents of the first consultation:

• Initial assessment of the idea, target group and market potential
• Guidance on business models and development paths
• Support if there is no concrete idea yet (e.g. in finding topics, analysing interests, identifying personal strengths)
• Overview of relevant funding programmes and financing options
• Information on further training programmes, workshops and network formats
• Recommendations for next steps and suitable support programmes from the ZfE

The advice is confidential and free of charge for students, staff and researchers at the University of Rostock. Counselling sessions can take place both online and on site at Albert-Einstein-Straße 21. Appointments are arranged individually.
